Description

Short title: Queen v Farre.

Plaintiff(s): The Queen, at the relation of Thomas Rixon and William Hyde.

Defendant(s): Henry Farre alias Thare.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands called Haymonds Wolvinsland and Combrees and Hitchcocks, lying in Ridgwick and elsewhere, "The Vine" and "Vine Brome" (Surrey and Sussex and Southampton), lately belonging to Richard Hawleis alias Hollis, deceased; by what title Thomas Garton, deceased, claimed the premises; whether the lands were left for superstitious uses in Cranley Church (Surrey). Metes and bounds. Concealed lands?.

Date of commission: 19 November 1591.
