Description

Short title: Graunge v Jermyn.

Plaintiff(s): John Graunge.

Defendant(s): John Jermyn, Thomas Burro, Bridget his wife, Thomas Randall, John Owers, Thomas Webb.

Subject of depositions: Free chapel in Wickhambrook (Suffolk), called Badmondsfield Hall Chapel. Touching Badmondesfield Hall and Geynes Hall, and the parsonage of Wickhambroke. Possessions. Metes and bounds. Tithes. Touching the right of the Crown to such tithes. [The names and possessions of Sir George Somerset, late of Wickhambroke, kt, Sir Morris Jones, chaplain of said Sir George, William Mansey, lessee of said chapel, under Exchequer Seal, (temp. Eliz I), at rent, 53s 4d. Richard Coote, William Pond alias Old Pond, Henry Whithead, George Eden, Mr Auker, John Barroe, Charles Somerset, Charles Worledge, John Worledge, and Richard Collison, clerk, vicar of the parish church of Wickambroke, are mentioned].
