Plaintiff(s): Rees ap Rinalt, Rees ap David, Mores ap Robert Richard Owen ap Jevan, Morgan ap Jevan ap David, William ap Morgan ap Jevan ap Glin, Arthur ap Hugh, Lowry verch Hoell, Katherine verch Hoell, Jevan ap William Lewis, Thomas ap Morgan ap Jevan ap David, Elizabeth verchWilliam Thomas Meredith ap Jevan ap Glin, Margaret verch Gruffith ap Llewellyn, Robert ap Morgan, Katherine verch David, Mores ap Jevan ap David ap Glin, Jonett verch Hoell, William ap Robert Agnes verch Thomas Her Majesty's ancient native tenants of the township of Dinorwick.

Defendant(s): Thomas Williams. William Williams, Simon Williams.

Subject of depositions: Township of Dinorwick (Caernarfonshire). Lease of the township, 26 Hen VIII, under the Exchequer Seal of Carnarvon, to Henry Webb, for 40 years. Composition of plaintiffs with Webb for the lease, made to avoid trouble and suits of law "to infringe their "custom within said township to continue as ancient native "tenants." Possession by plaintiffs under said composition of "encresse" or "exchett" (escheat) lands. Alleged expulsion of ancient tenants by defendants, etc. [Sir George Peckham, son-in-law and executor of said Webb, is mentioned].

County/place: Caernarfonshire.

Date of commission: 10 May 1591.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 20 September 1591 and 8 April (?) at Bangor Cathedral, certificate dated 25 September 1591.
