Composition of plaintiffs with Webb for the lease, made to avoid trouble and suits of law "to infringe their "custom within said township to continue as ancient native "tenants." Possession by plaintiffs under said composition of "encresse" or "exchett" (escheat) lands. Alleged expulsion of ancient tenants by defendants, etc. [Sir George Peckham, son-in-law and executor of said Webb, is mentioned].
