Description

Short title: Clere v Somerset.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Edward Clere, of Blickling (Norfolk).

Defendant(s): Janet, now wife of Mr Somerset, and late widow of Robert Whitney.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands in Thetford and Westwick (Norfolk), Elvedon (Suffolk), and Downham (Norfolk), the late priory of monks of Thetford; the possessions of Thomas Duke, of Norfolk, William Dix. Tithes of the parishes of St Peter and St Andrew, Thetford, the late canons of Thetford, and Phillip Earl of Arundel.
