Description

Short title: Kirtland v Ventries.

Plaintiff(s): John Kirtland.

Defendant(s): Abraham Ventries, Thomas Sanbroke, James Wilkinson.

Subject of depositions: Mills called "Quyn Johns" alias "Quingeons Mills" alias "Nunne Mills" near the town of Northampton; whether they lie in Hardingston or within the liberty of Northampton. Alleged injury to plaintiff's said mills by the diversion of the custom to defendants' mills, and drawing away the water from the "Quyn John" alias "Quingeon" alias "Nunnes" Mills.

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1591.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 14 April 1591 at Northampton.
