Description

Short title: Mordaunt v Temple.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Mordaunt, lord of the manor of Westbury.

Defendant(s): John Temple, Edward Tirrell, John Welsborne, Thomas Slye.

Subject of depositions: Manor or lordship of Westbury (Buckinghamshire), the woods belonging and the vicarage of Westbury. Tithes. Metes and bounds. The river of Westbury, the abbeys of Elstow (Bedfordshire), Osney (Oxfordshire), and Catesby (Northamptonshire), the hospital of St James and St John, of Brackley (Northamptonshire), the honor of Wallingford. [The names and possessions of John Love, Anne Morgan, late wife of Thomas Straunge, esq, and John Wyn, are mentioned].
