Plaintiff(s): John Wislake, Humphrey Gilbert, farmers of the ancient customary mills of the manor of Topsham (Devon).
Defendant(s): Andrew Holland.
Subject of depositions: Ancient customary mills called "The Weare Mills" in the manor of Topsham, and the newly erected mills of the defendants in the parish of Topsham and in the parish of Exmister (Devon). Whether said customary mills are "sufficient "; alleged interference of defendant's mills with the custom to plaintiffs' ancient mills.
County/place: Devon.
Date of commission: 16 November 1590.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 31 March 1591 at Heavitree.
