Description

Short title: Steward v Jarvys.

Plaintiff(s): William Steward of Ely (Cambridgeshire).

Defendant(s): Thomas Jarvys, John Day, Edmund Blaxton, Andrew Dixon, Launcelot Flower.

Subject of depositions: Inclosures of lands belonging to Barton Farm (lying between the way from Ely to Braham), and a common fen called "Cawdle Fen" and other inclosures in Ely. Custom of right of common in Ely. Metes and bounds of fens in Ely. [Nicholas Steward (father of plaintiff) is mentioned].

County/place: Cambridgeshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1591.
