Description

Short title: Lord Crumwell v Hovenden.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Lord Crumwell.

Defendant(s): Robert Hovenden, clerk, warden, and the College of the Souls of all Faithful People, deceased, of Oxford and Thomas Carter, gent.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands in Wadboro' (Worcester?), in the lordship of (Whadboro'?) ? Warboro'. Metes and bounds. The late priory of Launde. The parishes of Tilton, Laddington, Laund, and Halsted. Tithes. [The names and possessions of William Hurleston and John Walker, and the abbey of Owlston, are mentioned].

County/place: Leicestershire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1590.
