Description

Short title: ap John v Wynne.

Plaintiff(s): Robert ap John ap Robert William ap Hugh Morice, Hugh David, David ap Griffith, Morgan ap Richard, and others, residents and inhabitants of the township of Bodyvan (Carnarvon).

Defendant(s): Thomas Wynne, Her Majesty's farmer of the town of Bodyvan.

Subject of depositions: Township of Bodvean, "which was found by office in the time of the late Earl of Essex to be parcel of the forest of Snowden." Touching leases of the township and payment of fines, etc. [John ap Robert (father of plaintiff Robert ap John ap Robert), and Robert L'lin ap Ithel, grandfather to plaintiff Robert, are mentioned].

County/place: Caernarfonshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1590.
