Plaintiff(s): Peter Edgcomb.
Defendant(s): Sir John Pointz, Walter Plummer, Anthony Throgmorton.
Subject of depositions: Assignment of lease of the forest of Exmoor to defendants Plummer and Throgmorton, and purchase of same from them by defendant Pointz, notwithstanding (as alleged) the promise of thedefendant Pointz that he would not make the purchase without the plaintiff's "goodwill ".
County/place: Devon; Somerset.
Date of commission: 8 July 1590.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 11 August 1590 at South Molton, 13 October 1590 at Launceston.
