Description

Short title: Matthewson v Mennell.

Plaintiff(s): Bartholomew Matthewson.

Defendant(s): Richard Mennell, Ralph Radcliff, Francis Askwith, Leonard Smithson, Rowland Askwith, Thomas Wright, John Boulton.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands, in Moulton (Yorkshire), parcel of the manor of [? Moulton] formerly in the possession of Sir Roger Lassells, and since of Christopher Lassells his son, and conveyed by him to Sir Christopher Wray, Lord Chief Justice of England, and by him to Roger Radcliff, and by him to Leonard Smithson. [George Tockets is mentioned].

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 13 November 1589.
