Description

Short title: Repington v Seale.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Repington, Nicholas Bretton, George Corbyn, Alexander Morley, William Necton.

Defendant(s): Robert Seale, John Voughton, bailiffs of the town of Tamworth.

Subject of depositions: Borough or town of Tamworth (Warwick and Stafford), and the prebends of Anington, Wigenton, Bonehill, Wilnecot, Coton, and Syrescote, lately belonging to the late college of Tamworth. Touching the right to hold a fair in said town on St Swithin's Day, in right of said prebends. Touching toll, piccage, of the fair.

County/place: Warwickshire; Staffordshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1589.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 8 January 1590 at Tamworth.
