Description

Short title: Barker v Awbrey.

Plaintiff(s): William Barker, clerk, vicar of Gilling.

Defendant(s): John Awbrey, George Pudsey, Thomas Bell.

Subject of depositions: Lands in Stapleton, in the parish of Gilling (Yorkshire); whether the premises are parcel of the glebe of the vicarage of Gilling. Value of the vicarage. [The names and possessions of William Berry and Roger Blackburne, vicars of Gilling, and Richard Clarvax, of Stapleton (Yorkshire), and a grant of the premises by Letters Patent, dated 3 September, 15 Eliz I to Edward Foorth and Henry Bett, by them to William Wentworth, and by him to Thomas Metham, are mentioned].

Date of commission: 8 November 1588.
