Description

Short title: Still v Whalley.

Plaintiff(s): John Still, DD, Master of Trinity College, Cambridge, and the fellows and scholars of the same.

Defendant(s): Richard Whalley, Edward Burnell.

Subject of depositions: Lease of the parsonage of Flintham (Nottinghamshire), made by John Redman, master of Trinity College, to William Cowper, of London. As to which of two registers kept at the college is correct, the "unrased" or the "rased" one, and whether the said lease was made for "fourscore" or for forty years.

County/place: Cambridgeshire; Nottinghamshire.

Date of commission: 19 February 1589.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 April 1589 at Cambridge.
