Description

Short title: Farrington v Fleetwood.

Plaintiff(s): William Farrington, brother of Robert Farrington.

Defendant(s): John Fleetwood, Thomas Fleetwood, Richard Fleetwood, Alice Kytchyn, William Sutton, William Foster.

Subject of depositions: Lordship and town of Longton, in the parish of Penwortham (Lancashire). Perambulation of the parish. Tithes.[The names and possessions of Elizabeth Farrington, wife of Robert Farrington, William Forshawe, John Aynsworth, the rectoryes of Leyland and Penwortham, the tithes of Houghton, Wythiell, Whielton, Rodlesworth, Ollerton, Stanworth, Ewxton, and Hutton, late of the monastery of Evesham (Worcestershire), Sir Henry Farrington (father of plaintiff), the tythe of Heapey, in Leyland parish, in the possession of Mr Standish, of Duxberry, a conventual lease from the abbey of Evesham to Sir Richard Houghton, kt, Thomas Houghton, and Alexander Houghton, sons of said Sir Richard, of tithes in Houghton, Wythiell, Wheelton, Brymcroft, Stanworth, Ollerton, and Rodlesworth, Robert and William Cowper, of Leyland, Alice Whittle, wife of Henry Whittle, Alice, the wife of William Somner, of Ulneswalton, James Forshawe, John Forshawe, Henry Simon, Ralph Hollinghurst, Alexander Rigby, late of the Brough (Lancashire), William Troutbeck, son of Adam Troutbeck, James Garstynge alias Garstange, commonly called Black James Garstynge alias Garstange, late of Fennysclough, are mentioned].
