[A grant by the guild to William Symons, mayor of New Windsor, made by Richard Archard and Edward Kenner, wardens, and said fraternity in the 33rd year of Henry VIII. Whether soon after William Symons was mayor of New Windsor, he was punished for perjury "and did ride with a paper in his hat or cap with one Doctor London, in the town of Windsor, with their faces to the horses tayle.
