Description

Short title: Thomas v Parry.

Plaintiff(s): John Thomas Beynon.

Defendant(s): Thomas Parry.

Subject of depositions: Two free chapels, one called Chapel Colman alias Llangolman, and the other Kilvawr (Pembrokeshire). Touching an alleged contract between plaintiff and defendant that plaintiff should pay a certain rent for a moiety of the premises, and assist in paying for a curate to officiate in the chapels, and re-entry of defendants in the premises, because of non-fulfilment by plaintiff of the contract. [A grant of the chapels by the Crown, 8 Eliz I to John Vaughan, esq, at a rent of 4l. and Walter Vaughan, his son, are mentioned].

County/place: Pembrokeshire.

Date of commission: 12 May 1588.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 24 September 1588 at Cardigan, certificate dated 24 September 1588.
