Description

Short title: Rice v Lloyd.

Plaintiff(s): Griffith Rice.

Defendant(s): Lewis Lloyd.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands called "Kom Kigido" with the appurtenances, in the parish of Llanlawhayarne (Cardigan), in the tenure of Sir David ap Jankin, clerk, tenant to defendant; whether in Her Majesty's hands by the high treason of Reice Griff, father of plaintiff, and granted by the Crown to plaintiff by Letters Patent, dated 28 June, 23 Eliz I. [The possessions of John Phillips, esquire, are mentioned].

County/place: Cardigan.

Date of commission: 19 February 1588.
