Description

Short title: Gilpin v Gavell.

Plaintiff(s): John Gilpin, Robert Chelsham.

Defendant(s): Robert Gavell, Thomas Hemingway.

Subject of depositions: Lands in Cobham, called Pegotts and Dallawayes, and others, in Kingston-on-Thames, lately belonging to Peter and Robert Bardsey, and said to have been sold to Robert Norton and William Stoughton, and an annuity of £6 13s 4d issuing out of the lands. Whether the annuity was given by Robert Bardsey to find a priest in Kingston. Concealed lands.

County/place: Surrey.

Date of commission: 28 November 1587.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 8 January 1588 at Kingston.
