Subject of depositions: Right and title to certain closes called St Mary Heys, lying within the liberties of the town of Bewmarres, and parcel of the possessions of the late chantry of Our Lady the Virgin, in the church of Bewmarres, and granted by Edw VI to Richard Gittins, and made over by the said Richard Gittins to Ellis Scolfyeld, setting aside all chantry leases, said to be occupied by defendants (as alleged) under a lease from the chantry. [William Bulkley (defendant's father), Owen David ap William, Ralph Goodman, former bailiff of Bewmares, and Ellen Bulkley, are mentioned].
