Description

Short title: Thornborough v Cosyn.

Plaintiff(s): John Thornborough, master, and the perpetual chaplains of the Savoy Hospital.

Defendant(s): Edward Cosyn.

Subject of depositions: Lease of all such lands as belonged to the Hospital of the Savoy (London) in Middlesex, Lancaster, York, and Westmorland, made by Thomas Thurland, master, and the chaplains of the hospital to one Perwich, deceased, and defendant. Touching custody of common seal, and rules and regulations of the hospital about conveyance of lands, etc. [The name of Roger Wetherell, of Lincoln's Inn, councellor to the hospital, and lands in Mile End (Middlesex), are mentioned].
