Description

Short title: Bowyer v Parkins.

Plaintiff(s): Ralph Bowyer, the Queen's Serjeant-at-Arms.

Defendant(s): Richard Parkins, of Ashby, in the parish of Botmesforth alias Botteforth (Lincolnshire).

Subject of depositions: Alleged "pluyinge and plucking upp" by defendant of "bunstons" (boundary stones) and landshares between Her Majesty's ground in Ashby (Lincolnshire), farmed by him of the Crown, and his own inheritance; and touching a copyhold messuage held by defendant.

County/place: Lincolnshire.

Date of commission: 29 May 1587.
