Description

Short title: Queen v Fetyplace.

Plaintiff(s): The Queen.

Defendant(s): Edmund Fetyplace, Alexander Fetyplace, Edmund Lee, Avice Lee, widow.

Subject of depositions: Felling of certain timber beeches in the manor of Ewelme, by Sir Edmond Ashfield, kt, and Alexander Fetyplace. Touching waste and spoil in woods called Swynecombe Woods, lying in the parishes of Newelme, Swynecombe, Bixgibbon, Bixbrand, and Nettlebed (Oxfordshire); lease by Crown of the woods to Thomas Kuevett.

County/place: Oxfordshire.

Date of commission: 11 February 1587.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 21 March 1587 at Henley.
