Description

Short title: Fowlehill v Stofford.

Plaintiff(s): Humphrey Fowlehill alias Fowlinge.

Defendant(s): George Stofford, William Stofford.

Subject of depositions: Close in defendant's occupation, called Kingston Moore, in the manor of Ottery St Mary (Devon). Alleged damming by defendants of the river running through the close, to the injuryof plaintiff [Robert and John Fowlehill, father and grandfather of plaintiff, are mentioned].

County/place: Devon.

Date of commission: 12 February 1587.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 12 and 13 April 1587 at Ottery St Mary.
