Description

Short title: Monkland v Hackluyt.

Plaintiff(s): John Monkland.

Defendant(s): Miles Hackluyt, Thomas Abrahall, and Anne his wife.

Subject of depositions: Lands called the Twelve Acres alias Furhill, in Evington (Herefordshire). Whether parcel of Evington Manor or of the "Amery House of Wicton" and held of the Corporation of Leominster, and hence exempted from the payment of tithes.

County/place: Herefordshire.

Date of commission: 20 June 1585.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 6 September 1585 at Stoke, certificate dated 15 October 1585.
