Description

Short title: Chaucey v Lord Berkley.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Chaucey alias Giles, Henry Gulson.

Defendant(s): Henry Lord Berkley.

Subject of depositions: Manors of Melton (Leicestershire) and Lewes (Sussex), and the parsonage of Lewes. Whether certain lands in said manor of Melton (Leicestershire) were held of the late priory of Kirby Bellers; whether the master of Burton Lazas (Leicestershire) was farmer to the priory of Lewes (Sussex) for the parsonage of Melton (Leicestershire). Metes and bounds. Customs of the manors.
