Description

Short title: ap Jevan v Planer.

Plaintiff(s): Meredith ap Jevan and Lettice his wife.

Defendant(s): John Planer, John Whitlock.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a house known by the sign of The Lion, and other lands in Odiham (Southampton), lately belonging to Thomas Smithe alias Heath, deceased, late husband of plaintiff Lettice. Whether Thomas Smithe assured the house for his wife's jointure, or conveyed it to the defendants.

County/place: Hampshire.

Date of commission: 30 June 1585.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 26 July 1585 at Odiham.
