Description

Short title: Hovenden v Lord.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Hovenden, clerk, warden of the College of All Souls, Oxford.

Defendant(s): Henry Lord Cromwell.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a close called Whadboro', parcel of the late monastery and now manor of Lawnde, claimed by the college of All Souls, Oxford. Metes and bounds of the close. [An exchange of lands in Owston by the prior of Owston for lands in Wadboro' Close belonging to the prior of Launde is mentioned].
