Defendant(s): Anthony Ellerker, Christopher Dobson, Thomas Richardson, Thomas Shipton alias Skipton, Thomas Leggett, William Barker.
Subject of depositions: Lands in Alne, claimed by Sir Nicholas Fairfax, in right of the manor of Alne, and the chapel at Tollerton, decreed by the president and council at York to be repaired by Sir Nicholas Fairfax and restored to the inhabitants of Tollerton.
County/place: Yorkshire.
Date of commission: 28 November 1584.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 3 and 4 February 1585 at Stamford Brigge.
