Description

Short title: Covert v Gratwick.

Plaintiff(s): Walter Covert.

Defendant(s): Roger Gratwick.

Subject of depositions: Forest of St Leonards (Sussex), metes and bounds; value; survey. Touching a lease of the forest held by George Hall of Mr Dix, and a bargain between defendant and George Hall for the moiety of the pasturage of the forest.

County/place: Sussex.

Date of commission: 28 November 1584.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19, 20 and 21 January 1585 at Horsham.
