Description

Short title: Holland v Queen.

Plaintiff(s): George Holland, Christopher Manning.

Defendant(s): The Queen.

Subject of depositions: Diverse amerciaments set upon plaintiffs at a leet and court baron held within the manor and forest of Nassington (Northamptonshire). Right of Common on Berry Moor, and drains made thereon by plaintiff Manning, to injury of commoners. Customs of the manors.

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 27 June 1584.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 18 September 1584 at Aylesworth.
