Description

Short title: Jollye v Berney.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Jollye, Henry Girling.

Defendant(s): Robert Berney, Matthew Hix, William Mylles, Edward Fletcroft, Raffe Dodde, John Mannynge, Robert Barker.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Soterley, and William Playter; who was lord of the manor? Customs manor, and courts leet held there. Her Majesty's Court Leet, called Woodston Leet, held in the town of Willingham (Suffolk). Precincts of the same. Leet for the manor of Saturlye or Sotterley.

County/place: Suffolk.

Date of commission: 8 July 1584.
