Description

Short title: Mathewe v Sprynte.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Mathewe and others.

Defendant(s): Gregory Sprynte.

Subject of depositions: Certain lands in the manor of Ayssheberton, namely Rewlacomb, Ketaparke, Fenabrudge, Marshe, Rookland, Hepstoke, Woodball alias Football, Rewepark, Horssewood Hyll, Moorpark, and one mill, sometime an edgmyll,but now a grestmyll, called Brokinges Myll, and Aweswell Wood and Aweswell Downe, Borough Wood, and Lurge Hyll, Hoolmarshe, Waterburne, and others. Survey of manor, and custom of tenants.

County/place: Devon.

Date of commission: 23 November 1583.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 13 January 1584 at Ayssheberton.
