Description

Short title: Ley v Kytchin.

Plaintiff(s): John Ley, searcher.

Defendant(s): Robert Kytchin.

Subject of depositions: Office of Searcher in the port of Bristol, filled by Allen Ley, brother of the plaintiff. Concerning a ship called the Minnikin, sailing from the port of Hungroade into Kingroade, and one called the Gyfte towards Spain, and the seizure of them with corn and long-cloths.

County/place: Bristol.

Date of commission: 28 November 1583.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 20 December 1583 at Bristol.
