Description

Short title: Queen v Brighte.

Plaintiff(s): The Queen, by Sir Nicholas Bacon.

Defendant(s): Thomas Brighte.

Subject of depositions: Hundred of Thedwardeste, how Bright holds his lands in Barton, whether by fealtie of the Queen or from the abbot of Bury St Edmunds (Suffolk), on payment of a quarter of oats. Possessions of monastery of Bury St Edmunds.

County/place: Suffolk.

Date of commission: 4 July 1582.
