Plaintiff(s): Rauffe Tailboys, George Lawson, William Hodgson, William Claxton, Her Majesty's tenants, and William Lee.
Defendant(s): Richard Bishop, of Durham.
Subject of depositions: Bridge over the Tyne River, and certain blue stones on the same, supposed to mark the bounds between the liberties of the Bishop of Durham and the mayor and bailiffs of Newcastle-on-Tyne. Repair of Tyne Bridge extending over the River Tyne betwixt Newcastle and Gaitshed.
County/place: Durham.
Date of commission: 9 June 1581.
