Plaintiff(s): John Formesonne, Thomas Winesore, inhabitants of Mertonne.
Defendant(s): Nicholas Thornes, Nicholas Allene, William Allenne.
Subject of depositions: Town of Merton, in the hundred of Pimhill, whether called Merten, Marten, Mooretonne, or Moretone, and the collection of the tax called the fifteenth; also in the villages of Eytonne and Fenimere.
County/place: Shropshire.
Date of commission: 26 January 1581.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 1 March 1580 (?) at Eliamde Myddle.
