Description

Short title: Flemyng v Bensonn.

Plaintiff(s): William Flemyng.

Defendant(s): John Bensonn, Roger Griggs, Hugh Hanckrigge, Robert Ottley, John Hanckrigge, Anthony Watsonn.

Subject of depositions: Manor and forest of Ridall and Grasmere Common. Right of common there for tenants of Borradall, Patterdale, Withyburn, and Langdale.

County/place: Westmorland.

Date of commission: 31 January 1581.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 March 1581 at Gressemere Church.
