Description

Short title: Queen v Company of Drapers of Shrewsbury.

Plaintiff(s): The Queen.

Defendant(s): Company of Drapers in Shrewsbury.

Subject of depositions: Divers tenements and lands belonging to the mystery and brotherhood of the Company of the Drapers in Shrewsbury, whether chantry lands for saying mass in the Trinity Chapel, in the church of St Mary's, Salop, for superstitious uses, part given by will of Degory Waters.

County/place: Shropshire.

Date of commission: 8 July 1579.
