Description

Short title: Dirdoe v Zouche.

Plaintiff(s): William Dirdoe, John Cowarde, Richard Criche, John Shepparde, Gilbert Keynell, Jerome Greene, William Cresbin, John Wolridge, John Shepparde, tenants of the Queen's manor of Gillingham.

Defendant(s): Sir John Zouche or Zowche.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Gillingham, and forest of same, bounds and limits, also customs of the manor.

County/place: Dorset.

Date of commission: 11 February 1574.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 29 and 30 March 1574 at Dunworthe.
