Description

Short title: [unknown] v [unknown].

Plaintiff(s): [unknown].

Defendant(s): [unknown].

Subject of depositions: Common down or waste ground called Clevehills alias Cleveshill, and places on the same common at variance between the tenants of the manor of Sowtham and tenants of the manor of Bishop's Cleve. Depositions for Edward Walwyn and others, tenants ofthe manor of Sowtham, parcel of the Duchy of Lancaster.

County/place: Gloucestershire.

Date of commission: 24 November 1564.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 17 April 1565 at Bishop's Cleve, and 18 April 1565 at Sowtham.
