Description

Plea roll of the Cheshire forest eyre of 1347 in the forests of Wirral, Delamere and Mondrem, before Thomas de Ferrers, Roger de Hopewell and John de Macclesfield at Chester on 8 November: pleas of the vert, Wirral, rot 1-6; pleas of the venison, Wirral,rot 7; pleas of the vert Delamere and Mondrem, rots 8-10; pleas of the venison, Delamere and Mondrem, rot 11; regard, Wirral, rots 12-14; regard, Delamere and Mondrem, rots 15-18; claims of foresters and others within the forests, rots 19-27, 29; charters, rots 30-33. Rot 28 is a record of a suit in the county court of Chester in 31 Edw III, to which is attached a writ of supersedeas dated 50 Edw III
