Appellant: Alfred Buckwell of Brighton, owner of the late brig Martha Miles, and her master and crew. Respondent: James Jenkinson Bibby, Frederick Chapple, William Miles Moss and John Taylor Cross, all of Liverpool, owners of the screw steamship Corinthian. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 28 Sept 1861. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
