Appellant: John Laird, the elder, William Laird, the younger, and John Laird, the younger, all of Birkenhead, Chester, owners of the steamship Ulster. Respondent: Charles Brownli, merchant, and William Wade, master mariner, both of Liverpool, owners of the schooner Tagus. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 28 Apr 1860. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
