- Letters are from the French embassy, Albert Gate House, Hyde Park, unless otherwise stated emperor = Napoleon III 1 vol [Two?] letters, of date between 25 April and 13 November 1860, appear to have been removed; also the text of a letter from Lord Brougham and Vaux, dated 9 March 1860.
