Agriculture: voting division on Disraeli's annual motion on distress; conditions round Ely (fs. 87-90). Registration bill progress. Westminster Bridge Commission: invitations to serve. British Museum: appointment of trustees. Proposal to construct road and bridge from Stable Yard to Birdcage Walk: Pennethorne to estimate (fs. 113-14). New Forest legislation. Correspondence: J.R.; Sir D. Le Marchant; Sir F. Baring; Dean of Ely; Lords Sudeley, Seymour, Campbell; Sir G. Grey; Sir C. Wood; Fox Maule; T. F. Kennedy and others.
