Slaney's memorandum on need to strengthen government following loss of Sir Robert Peel's support. W.F. Campbell's proposals for a bribery commission. Question of lowering the franchise. Correspondence: Lord Minto; Sir G. Grey. Office of Woods: T.F. Kennedy's adverse report. Question of New Forest establishment and enclosures, and site for the Marble Arch.
