House of Lords: question of life or hereditary peerages; promotions and conferments. Post Office: question of Sunday work; position of London; staff objections. Mint: Sir R Inglis protests at omission from florin of `Dei Gratia'. Decimal coinage statement and J.R's remarks thereon. Health: cholera epidemics over; sanitary regulations imposed. Appointment of Smithfield commissioners. Correspondence: J.R; G. C. Lewis, Lords Palmerston, Ashley, Lansdowne, Clanricarde; Sir C. Wood; Sir R. Inglis; Archbishop of Canterbury; Sir J.
