Order to Thomas [Wolsey,] cardinal priest of St. Cecilia, called "of York," and papal legate de latere in England, to accept the renunciation to be made by Richard [Nykke,] bishop of Norwich, or any other then being bishop of Norwich, of the first fruitsof all ecclesiastical benefices in that diocese, in recompense for which the bishop is to receive the revenues of the abbey of St. Benet de Ulmo (a suitable portion for the monks being reserved) and of the manors or granges of Aylisham, Sotherey, Longhton and Tylney, belonging to the abbey of St. Edmund of Bury, the abbot of Bury receiving in recompense the hospitals of St. Saviour without the North gate, and of St. Peter without `Rysebygate,' Bury St. Edmunds.
